About GGC
Our mission
As the national voice for Canada’s grain farmers, Grain Growers of Canada (GGC) represents over 70,000 producers through our 14 national, provincial and regional grower groups. Our members steward 110 million acres of land to grow food for Canadians and for 160 countries around the world, creating $45 billion in export value annually. As the farmer-driven association for the grains sector, GGC champions federal policies that support the competitiveness and profitability of grain growers across Canada.
Mission
We advocate for the interests of grain farmers by shaping and influencing federal policies that enhance competitiveness, promote growth opportunities, and ensure the long-term viability of Canadian grain farms.
Vision
We strive to be the unified voice for Canadian cereal, oilseed, and pulse growers, working to advance policies that protect farmers’ livelihoods and build a strong, competitive grain sector for future generations.
Our national voice needs to be as loud as ever.
As a leading farmer voice in Ottawa, we are collaborating with members and industry partners to educate the government on the business of modern grain farms to enhance understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing grain farmers. We support our advocacy strategies through consistent communication with our members, the farm community and media.
