We believe in the power of collaboration. We work with a number of partners to ensure that we’re maximizing investments in advocacy.

Agriculture More Than Ever is a forum where the agriculture industry comes together to share pride in agriculture on social media. It encourages positive dialogue around agriculture and food, building trust between producers and consumers.

Canadian Agri-Food Trade Alliance (CAFTA) is a coalition of national organizations that support a more open and fair-trading environment for agriculture and agri-food. Our members represent farmers, producers, processors, and exporters from the major trade-dependent sectors, including beef, pork, meat, grains, cereals, pulses, soybeans, canola, sugar, malt, and processed food industries. Together, we account for 90% of Canada’s agri-food exports, about $50 billion in exports and an economic activity that supports over a million jobs in urban and rural communities across Canada.

The Canada Grains Council is the national organization representing the interests of the Canadian grain, oilseed, pulse and special crop sectors. Our members represent the entire value chain, including Canadian growers, seed and life science companies, commodity associations, grain companies and public research institutions. Formed in 1969 to coordinate efforts to increase the sale and use of Canadian grain in domestic and world markets, the Council has become the leading recognized forum of the grain industry, in Canada and around the world.

The Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Crops (CRSC) was formed in 2013 to facilitate cross-commodity collaboration on sustainable agriculture issues and opportunities facing grains sector participants. Comprised of grower, industry, customer and consumer organizations, the CRSC is a national, industry-led forum engaging value chain stakeholders in assessing and responding to marketplace demands and showcasing Canada’s performance in the area of agriculture sustainability.

The Agriculture Carbon Alliance (ACA) is a national coalition of 15 farm organizations committed to meaningful and collaborative dialogue with the federal government around carbon pricing.

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is Canada’s largest and most activated business network — representing over 400 chambers of commerce and boards of trade, and more than 200,000 businesses of all sizes, from all sectors of the economy and every region of the country. It works to create the conditions for collective economic success.

The National Index on Agri-Food Performance is a growing coalition of public and private partners working pre-competitively to present a comprehensive picture of sustainability across Canada’s agri-food sector—from production to retail—with the goal of continuous improvement. The Index relies on science-based metrics, prioritizing outcome-based data wherever available, while incorporating practice-based data where gaps exist. It is structured around four sustainability priorities: environmental performance, food integrity, economic viability, and societal well-being.

Advancing Agriculture is a collective voice to help promote modern agriculture in Canada. We are a collection of representatives from Canada’s agriculture community who have come together to advocate on issues that impact our sector. We strive to build a community from across the sector consisting of farmers, ranchers, value chain partners and the plant science industry.

Grower Requested Own Use is a regulatory pathway in Canada that allows grain producers to import specific crop protection products for their own use when equivalent Canadian-registered products are not reasonably available. Administered by the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), the GROU program provides farmers with access to cost-effective tools that support sustainable production, pest management, and competitiveness, while ensuring health and environmental safety through science-based assessments.

Coalition of Rail Shippers is an alliance of Canadian industry associations and companies that rely on rail to move goods across the country and to international markets. Representing a broad cross-section of the economy, including agriculture, forestry, mining, manufacturing, and chemicals, the Coalition advocates for fair, reliable, and competitive rail service. CRS works collaboratively to advance regulatory and policy solutions that improve freight rail performance, strengthen supply chain resilience, and support Canada’s trade-dependent economy.
